The SDIC Gansu Yellow River Wujinxia Hydropower project is a 140 MW hydropower plant in Baiyin, Gansu Province, China. This represents a reduction of CO2 per annum of over half a million tonnes. This environmentally friendly production of electricity is in line with the local history – the black stork, a first-class protected animal in China, was spotted and identified for the first time in the Baiyin Yellow River Wetlands.
