North American Renewable Energy

North America is one of the most advanced regions in terms of renewable energy technologies and infrastructure. Awareness about the consequences of climate change produced by fossil fuels is increasingly leading consumers to alternative power sources. The 80% fossil fuel make up of energy supply will drop to just under half by 2050. This will primarily be driven by the rapid electrification of road transport and in homes primarily, and the increase in solar and wind as a means to generate that electricity.
