North American Renewable Energy

North America is one of the most advanced regions in terms of renewable energy technologies and infrastructure. Awareness about the global consequences of pollution and climate change produced by fossil fuels and conventional power sources such as oil, coal, and natural gas, is increasingly leading consumers to use alternative power sources for various purposes. As a result, growing public awareness of green energy sources is boosting the renewable energy market growth. The 80% fossil fuel make up of energy supply will drop to just under half by 2050. This will primarily be driven by rapid electrification, particularly road transport and in homes, and the increase in solar and wind as a means to generate that electricity.
