Byafossen

Byafossen is located in Steinkjer in Trøndelag County. The original plant from 1936 was demolished and replaced by a completely new dam and plant in 2018. With the new construction the annual output has increased from 20 to 36 GWh. Byafossen has two 6 MW Kaplan turbines.
