Norges arktiske studentsamskipnad sources 100% renewable electricity for its campuses in Tromsø, Alta, Hammerfest, Harstad, Narvik and Svalbard.
The electricity production is certified according to the international EECS (European Energy Certificate System) standard and documented by the issue of Guarantees of Origin (GO). The GO system is the main attribute tracking system in Europe and is in compliance with the quality criteria set by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol in the latest Scope 2 guidance document.

Located 100 km west of the North cape, Havøygavlen is the world’s northernmost wind park and has proved to be an excellent testing ground for both the developers and the turbine makers.
